The imaginary exhibition (Haraizumi Art Project)

In 2020, Over 100 Participants across Japan signed up to receive a series of mailed boxes called “The Imaginary Exhibition.”

Inside, each of the 12 contributing artists shared sketches, found objects, writings, sound files, photographs, piece fragments, and other documentation of their creative process without revealing their final work displayed during Haraizumi Art Days. 


This project was conceived collaboratively as a way to share artwork with people who could not physically travel to due to pandemic restrictions.

想像する展覧会 (原泉アートプロジェクト)

2020年、日本中の100人以上の参加者が、"The Imaginary Exhibition "と呼ばれる一連の郵送箱に申し込みました。

その中には、12人の参加アーティストが、スケッチ、拾得物、文章、サウンドファイル、写真、作品の断片など、創作過程のドキュメントが、原泉アートデイズで展示した最終作品を明かすことなく、それぞれ入っています。


このプロジェクトは、パンデミックの制限により物理的に渡航できない人々と作品を共有する方法として、共同で考案されたものです。
